Alone is a treat for all
Bipasha Basu fans but the movie itself is surely a B-Grade in category but
Alone is not as horrifically bad as most Bollywood horror movies are. There are
two kinds of horror movies, ones that creep up on you in the dark and play with
your mind, and others that use the shock and scare method to raise the hairs on
the back of your neck but if we talk about Bollywood horror genre than there’s
nothing that can scare you to bits. Alone is a project of Bhushan Patel, who is
also a director of movies like Ragini MMS2 and 1920-Evil returns.
Alone is a story of a very busy
husband, not giving time to his over possessive wife, who is always angry with
her husband because of his very busy schedule and not spending time with her on
her birthday. Kabir wanted to take Sanjana back to their city Kerala but she
always beg to not to take her back to the city of Kerala because of very deep
secret of her.
Sanjana was conjoined with her
twin sister Anjana and she was very protective to her but their love was
severely tested when a very hot shot guy enters in their lives and both the
sisters fell for the same guy and demands to be separated because Kabir only
adores Sanjana that filled Anjana with jealousy and anger. One of the twin
sisters died in operation and the other one marries with Kabir.
One day Sanjana received a call from hospital that her mother is severely ill and wanted Sanjana to be with her. As Kabir and Sanjana flies back to Kerala and strange things started to happen when the other twin, who lost her life during the operation, comes back to haunt her sister.

The movie is full of heavy hot
scenes, between Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover, that is not the demand of
the genre but it is somehow necessary. Awkward romantic songs are shot like a
poor man’s music studio and too many shots, especially in the song Katra Katra,
that are either too high or too low for comfort. Watching Alone makes me feel
like there is something that forced the ingredients of the movie to come
together but overall it contains the good idea when the secret reveals that the
sister who died in the operation was not actually Anjana but Sanjana and Anjana
steals her sister’s identity just to be with Kabir and Sanjana’s spirit was not
here to haunt her sister but to tell the truth to Kabir.
