When a stranger calls an American horror thriller came out back in 2006 starring Camilla Belle, Katie Cassidy, Tommy Flanagan and Clark Gregg, directed by Simon West. Story of the movie revolves around an unknown man who first calls and then brutally murders the babysitters and kids.

Camilla Belle as Jill Johnson is facing her teenage problems with her boyfriend Bobby, who has been cheating her with her best friend Tiffany. She misses her school bonfire to get herself babysit at wealthy family to pay the debt she got because her phone got over 800 minutes. Jill’s father droves her to Mandrakes house for babysitting. Mrs. Mandrakes shows her the whole huge house built almost in a forest and has very secure alarm system. The couple mentioned that they won’t be back before midnight and kids are already at sleep.

At her stay in the house Jill started to feel little scared because of unfamiliar prank calls from someone she don’t know. Tiffany came to visit her but she manages to get her out because she didn’t wanted to get into any trouble as she is already scared because of the calls. Jill called the police station about the calls they asked her to keep him on the phone for 60 seconds so they could trace the call. After sometime he calls again and asked her to check the kids. To her fear she checked the kids and relieves to find them safe later she receives a call from police station who alarmed her that the phone calls are coming from inside the house. Jill finds the maid Rosa and Tiffany dead and there were no kids in the room. She discovers kids in the trunk and scared. A man from the ceiling follows her and ask her to open the door she manages to escape the kids and herself from the window but the man follows. The killer said he wants her blood all over him which disguised Jill. After long fight Jill manages to throw a knife on his hand and escapes and meanwhile the police arrives to catch the killer.

Later Jill is in hospital and calling someone to talk but there is no one, the whole hospital is empty and that killer shows up to kill Jill BUT that’s what she was dreaming about in the hospital.
